I can't say enough good things about Persel Woods. He was genuine and kind, and he he was even able to make us laugh, which was a comfort during such an emotionally hard time. He made sure our father received the full military honors he deserved. We are grateful for his help and compassion.
Loyless was absolutely wonderful to work with. Purcell met with me and explained everything thoroughly, and all the staff was very polite. They helped to make such a difficult process much smoother. I had a unique experience with Loyless. My father passed on Thanksgiving Day. He lived in Land O'Lakes but services were to be in NJ. Our NJ funeral home told me to call them when the time comes and they will handle everything (preparation and transport). However, their phones were down on Thanksgiving, so I was in a panic to get my father removed from his Assisted Living. I drive by Loyless just about everyday so gave them a call. Norma answered the phone on two rings and became my angel. Not only did she allay my concerns, she treated me like I was a long standing client. In the end, dad was picked up in a timely fashion, prepared and transported to NJ per our wishes. Norma kept me in the loop and I believe even saved me a fair amount of money to boot. These people are the real deal, good souls. If you're shopping around don't look any further. We have since amended our final intentions to be handled by Loyless.
I am very appreciative of the care that was taken to handle my mother's final affairs. The funeral director was professional, caring, and provided excellent advice during a time of extreme grief. I would recommend them highly.
Very professional - neat, organized, and very helpful. knew how to handle bringing my mom back to her home state of New York and worked in a timely efficient manner during a storm. I would recommend them if you don’t want any laggers or nonsense.
